Configuring a new account in Mail & Newsgroups (Netscape and Mozilla)
1. Open Netscape 6, 7, or Mozilla program
2. Click in the window menu and select Mail & Newsgroups.
If you have never configured or used your Mail & Newsgroups
program, the Account Wizard will open automatically, skip to step 4
3. Click on the Edit menu and select Mail
& Newsgroups Account Settings.... Then click Add
Account...
4. Select Email account and click Next.
5. In the Your name: box, type in your full name.
6. In the Email address: box, type your email
address from line 7a of your password sheet, and click the Next
button.
7. Under Select the type of incoming mail server you are
using, select POP.
8. In the Incoming server box, type the POP3 server name (pop1.tribcsp.com).
9 . In the Outgoing server box, type the SMTP server name (mail1.tribcsp.com)
and click the Next button.
10. In the User name box, type your e-mail account username from line
8a of your password sheet, then click Next.
11. In the Account name box, type your e-mail address from line 7a of
your password sheet, then click Next.
12. Click Finish.
13. When you check for mail, a box will appear asking for your email password.
Enter your email password from line 9a of your password sheet.
14. Check the box next to Use Password Manager to remember
this password if you wish to save your password.
