Time to do something for yourself? Have you ever dreamed of taking 3 days off from the distractions of work and housekeeping to go to a beautiful secluded place and just quilt? If this is your dream, then, the Black Hills Quilting Retreat is for you! This annual event is held at Mallo Camp, located on the Wyoming side of the beautiful Black Hills just off U.S. Highway 85 between Newcastle and Sundance, Wyoming. It is situated in a quiet valley beside a gurgling creek, amidst towering pines.
This year, we are offering a variety of classes to appeal to everyone from beginners to experts. For those who want to complete a major project, there will be three full two- day classes. There will be four Monday eve-Tuesday classes, and for those who prefer to learn a number of different projects, there are six one-day classes to choose from. Several of the classes will begin on Monday night. On Tuesday.-Wednesday evenings, there are the ever favorite show-n-tell, for instructors and participants.
